Looking for a Kay that is in perfect condition, sounds fantastic, and plays like butter? Look no further. This Kay was made in 1946, and from what I can tell is either an M-1 or S-8 model. It has the “Maestro” or violin corner shape but has the honey brown varnish Kay apparently started doing in the late 40’s. Somebody out there knows for sure. Original rosewood fingerboard, neck with no damage or reset, upgraded 10mm German end pin. It is set up with Spirocore weichs, and includes a pickup and adjustable bridge. Email to set up a time to come by and try it out.
