This excellent bass bow was made roughly c.1910, by Eugene Sartory. Though it has lost its original frog it is very well preserved, and provides endless character for the collectors enjoyment.

Players will delight in its strength, tone, and ground pounding 140g of sound producing pernambuco. The button and screw, I like as original to the stick, also have some very fun details. 21” hair length gives you all the bow you need, but not too much.

The frog for me is Morizot, in quite good condition and fitting the stick well. In addition I have acquired a Sartory bass frog not original to this stick that could be purchased separately if prospective buyers were interested. It is the classic shorter frog. It would need some restoration and to be carefully fit to the stick. I have a few recommendations of bow makers I trust for this procedure if necessary.
