My handmade extensions feature a fitted bar and capos in a variety of wood types, with conservation of ebony becoming a very large concern. Many other species "ebonize" well and look just like fine ebony. The  extension with a single E capo is $1,800 while the extension with three additional capos is $3,000. These prices include tunable capo hardware in brass or black aluminum, string of choice and woods of choice. I like leather for the fingers. It sounds the best and lasts longer than neoprene.
