Bass made by Paul Claudot in Mirecourt roughly around 1850. If you want to call it a Xavier Jacquet it’s ok, dance what you feel.

Lovely spruce top and maple ribs and back. Painted purfling and edges look amaze! There is sufficient worm damage throughout, but none structural imo. Bass is priced as is, and in my opinion only needs a neck reset and c extension. With a little more love this bass would be the talk of the town. Don’t sleep on this one!
