Bass made by Paul Claudot in Mirecourt roughly around 1850, though many have stated they think it’s X. Jacquet. 
Lovely spruce top and maple ribs and back. Painted purfling and edges are stunning! It needs a neck reset to correct the overstand, and c extension. The price reflects the updates it needs. A great investment and killer sounding bass!
